Sea Battle Classic

It's battleship, but with a charming notebook doodle twist; like the kind of game you'd sketch out in class while pretending to pay attention. In this hand-drawn homage to the classic Sea Battle, you command a fleet of ten ships ranging from dinky one-deckers to full-deck destroyers, and your job is to outwit the enemy by placing them cleverly and guessing even better. Gameplay stays true to tradition: take turns firing at coordinates, keep going if you land a hit, and once you sink a ship, the surrounding water is revealed (yes, a small cheat that old-school rules purists might side-eye, but it keeps things snappy). Besides the standard mode, things get a little more fun and chaotic with five bonus missions: drop bombs from the sky in Air Attack, hunt mobile submarines in Spearfishing, avoid civilian ships in No Room for Error, play smart with limited ammo in Torpedo Attack, and clear timed minefields in Beware of Mines. There's even an online mode if you're feeling social or slightly vengeful. The whole thing is wrapped in a nostalgic blue-ink aesthetic that makes it feel like you're playing in the margins of your high school notebook. Fun fact: The original paper version of battleship was first published as a pad-and-pencil game in the 1930s, long before it got plastic pegs and talking consoles.
