Pottery Master

There's something undeniably meditative about watching a lump of clay spin into a work of art, especially when it’s not flying off a real pottery wheel and splattering your kitchen. In this surprisingly lifelike 3D simulation, you’ll start with a glossy, rotating blob of virtual clay and use intuitive gestures to stretch it tall or press it wide, shaping the basic form with your fingertips. Once you’ve nailed the silhouette, you'll choose from a trio of trimming tools to fine-tune your vase against a glowing outline guide, then gently sponge away imperfections for a satisfyingly smooth finish. Painting adds a whole new layer of creativity with realistic streaks that spiral as the clay turns, and while the color palette leans heavily into rainbow territory (sorry, no moody earth tones or fancy glazes yet), there’s enough variety to keep your inner artist happy. Each finished piece is scored based on how closely it matches the reference shape, and completing a vessel unlocks the next challenge in your ceramic journey. The whole experience is deeply tactile and delightfully calming: less Ghost, more Bob Ross. Fun fact: the earliest known pottery dates back to 14,000 years ago in Japan, where ancient Jomon people decorated clay vessels with rope-like impressions, long before the invention of the wheel itself.
